Why is my HyperRing not connecting?

  • Remove any thick phone cases that may block the NFC scanner.
  • If you have an android phone, make sure your NFC function is turned on; for iPhone, this is automatic.
  • Make sure you are connected to stable wifi. The faster the wifi speed, the smoother this process will work.

Why is the POS terminal not reading the HyperRing?

  • For best performance, hold a fist and tap the ring flat against the terminal’s NFC area. This is the best position for the POS terminal to read the NFC signal from your HyperRing.
  • If that still didn't work, it could be that the POS terminal does not allow wearable payments. Unfortunately not all contactless POS terminals allow this.

Can I still use HyperRing if the app said my bank card is not supported?

  • If you live in the EU, please use Curve wallet to add any of your cards to the HyperRing. HyperRing Pay partners with Curve, so that any cards connected with your Curve account can work with our app. See our Curve info page for more details.
  • If you live outside of the EU, please check our supported banks list to see if you have any other cards that is supported.

How do I set up a Curve account?

Please follow the step by step instructions below:

  1. Download the Curve app from www.curve.com (available for iOS & Android).
  2. Sign up for a free account — it only takes a minute.
  3. Choose your preferred Curve card.
  4. In the app, go to Account > Card Details.
  5. Use the card details provided to connect Curve to your HyperRing using the HyperRing Pay app.
